Do you know how to recognise your intuition's messages?

Has it ever happened to you that you have days when an idea just won't leave your head?

I'm not talking about intrusive thoughts. That kind of thought is overwhelming, speaks very loudly in our mind, and disrupts our nervous system.

I'm talking about those ideas that speak softly, that make us nervous and happy at the same time. That make us feel like our inner spark lights up a little more each time we consider the possibility of it becoming real.

It happens to me often. I remember having this kind of idea since I was very small. They're like a whisper that makes me feel joy in my heart and nerves at the same time.

They often come as a vision, and just as often as a song. Yes, you read that right.

I'm one of those people who wakes up with a different song in her head every day. For as long as I can remember.

The repertoire has grown as more songs have come into my life... but I can assure you that sometimes very old songs arrive, ones I've heard only a handful of times.

The secret, for me, has been paying attention to the lyrics of the song that comes to me the moment I open my eyes. Because there's a message there. There's always a message.

Sometimes it's inspiring. Sometimes it feels like it's encouraging me to keep going with some plan I have in mind. Sometimes it's just a message of love, reminding me that I'm held and loved by invisible forces. Sometimes it's a push to get me out of places where it's not worth the effort to stay.

For a long time I didn't pay them any attention — I just thought it was my optimistic side waking up in a good mood every day.

But the truth is that the ideas and messages that whisper softly, the ones we so often overlook, are our intuition communicating with us through exactly the message we need most in that moment, to keep moving forward on our path.

All it takes is pausing and listening.

Do you know how your intuition communicates with you? Have you ever stopped to notice?
