IMANI METHOD · PREMIUM COMPANIONING

When the way you've been living is no longer enough.

An in-depth companioning process for times of change, conflict or life reorganisation, when what you need isn't a quick answer but a space to understand, discern, and choose again how you want to take part in your life.

Understand what I'm living. Discern what I need and what's mine to carry. Find my next possible move.

explanation of what a moment of transformation involves

Maybe you're in a moment like this

Something has changed. Or something inside you can't stay the same.

You've been through a loss, a separation, a move, a family change, or another major transition.

You feel like you're carrying too much and have lost sight of what you need.

Part of your life works, but another part needs deep reorganising.

You know you want to change something, but you still haven't found your own way to do it.

You're entering a new stage and want to inhabit it with more awareness, not repeat it out of old habits.

You're not necessarily "unwell": maybe there's something new that wants to be built, protected, or developed.

explanation of the directions the companioning process is oriented toward

WHAT THE IMANI METHOD IS

A framework to understand, discern, experiment and integrate.

IMANI doesn't try to tell you how you should live.

It seeks to create the conditions for you to better understand what you're living through, to tell apart what you need and what's yours to carry, to recognise your resources and possibilities, and to experiment with more genuine ways of taking part in your life.

We don't work to turn you into an ideal version of yourself.

We work so you can accompany yourself better and choose with greater awareness from the reality you're living right now.

TWO CORE CAPACITIES

Self-support and Self-positioning.

Self-support: being able to stand by your own side while you go through what you're living. Recognising your experience and needs, accompanying yourself with enough respect through difficulty, using your own resources and external ones, and recognising when you need care, help, rest, protection or distance.

Being able to make mistakes without abandoning yourself.

Being able to care for others without disappearing.

Self-positioning: being able to stay in the equation. Recognising what you feel, need, want and value; weighing limits, relationships, circumstances and consequences; telling apart what is and isn't in your hands, and choosing how you want to take part in your life.

They need each other. Self-support helps hold the emotional consequences of positioning yourself. Self-positioning gives direction to self-support.

THE QUESTIONS THAT GUIDE THE PROCESS

We don't look for ready-made answers. We refine the questions.

HOW THE PROCESS UNFOLDS

IMANI isn't a rigid sequence. It's a cyclical path.

01 Understand

Making sense of what's happening without reducing it to a single explanation.

02 Discern

Telling apart needs, desires, limits, responsibilities and possibilities.

03 Explore

Opening up perspectives, alternatives and questions that may not have been available before.

04 Choose

Deciding what deserves to be tried, sustained, protected, let go of, or waited on.

05 Experiment

Bringing something into real life and observing what happens, without demanding perfection.

06 Sustain

Accompanying what shows up when you start doing something different.

07 Integrate

Turning understanding and experience into capacities available outside the session.

08 Choose again

Revisiting the direction with the new information experience keeps offering.

TWO DIRECTIONS OF OBSERVATION

We don't only look at what hurts.

Hot Spots

Areas, situations, relationships or conflicts that concentrate distress or demand priority attention.

They help us recognise where it's worth pausing and what needs to be understood, protected or addressed.

Life Spots

Relationships, activities, capacities, interests, projects, desires or experiences that connect with enjoyment, meaning, belonging, curiosity, creativity or possibility.

Sometimes they need to grow. Other times they simply need to be protected.

What needs attention? What gives life?

HOW I ACCOMPANY

I don't walk for you. I walk alongside you.

My role isn't to become the authority over your life. I listen, observe, reflect back what I notice, help you discern, propose possibilities, and hand the choice back to you. Accompanying doesn't mean deciding. Guiding doesn't mean imposing. Validating doesn't mean confirming just any interpretation.

How we work

The relational sequence

WELCOME → OBSERVE → REFLECT BACK → DISCERN → PROPOSE → HAND BACK THE CHOICE

RESOURCES

Different tools. The same direction.

Depending on what we're working on, your consent, and the goal of the process, I may bring in resources from my professional and complementary training. No single tool defines the method, and none is used automatically.

BODY, HABITS AND WELLBEING

Nutrition and naturopathy

These may be brought in when the process needs to look at habits, self-care, diet, or other resources within my area of training.

SYMBOLIC AND INTUITIVE EXPLORATION

Evolutionary tarot · Akashic Records · dreams

These can open up questions, associations or perspectives. They don't diagnose, don't predict with certainty, and don't replace your own judgement.

COMPLEMENTARY RESOURCES

Reiki · Bach Flowers · phytotherapy

These may be part of the process when they're relevant, safe, within my competence, and wanted as part of the agreed process.

A PERMANENT FILTER

The method is never above the person.

Safety

Consent

Competence

Autonomy

If a situation requires medical, psychological, psychiatric, social, legal or other specialised intervention, that need takes priority.

Referral or complementary work doesn't mean abandoning the process: it means properly taking care of the person.

WHAT WE MEAN BY PROGRESS

We don't measure the process just by whether you feel better.

Relief can matter, but it isn't always the same as change.

And change still isn't the same as integration.

What can you do now without me that you used to need me for?

WHO IS THIS FOR?

IMANI may make sense for you if...

  • You're going through a life transformation that can't be solved with a single decision.
  • You feel you need to reorganise how you relate to yourself, to others, or to a stage of your life.
  • There are several connected issues, and a single focus no longer explains everything that's happening.
  • You want to develop inner resources, judgement and the capacity to choose, not just receive one-off guidance.
  • You need a process broad enough to experiment, revisit, sustain and integrate change.
  • You want in-depth companioning without handing the authority over your life to someone else.

THE ESSENCE

Understand what I’m living. Discern what I need and what is mine to carry. Find my next possible move. Experiment. Integrate. Choose again.
